So, I've revived this old account.
I considered making a new one, but I like having my old deviations to remind me of the progress I've made as an artist, plus I still have friends and artists I like (and maybe some followers??) attached to this account.
That being said, I've tidied up my page by shifting all of my older art into a separate folder, and I've deleted a bunch of my old journals as they were mostly just personality quizzes and teenage cringe
I will also change this account's name to SquareAquarium once I have some spare money.
Life update-wise, I've almost finished university now -man these 4 years have flown by- and I'm looking forward to living in the real world! 8D
It being my last year, I'm making a short animation, which I will post up bits and bobs from (aswell as the film I made last year) - but I'll slowly upload things in random chunks, as its split across two computers and I'm pretty busy atm
One thing I'll post up fairly regularly are the decent outcomes from a daily drawing challenge that me and some friends have made a bet to force each other to do.

My god...

It's been a long time since my last journal update - I'm just not very good with these things xD;;
Welp, college has been and gone now, got DDM, which I am pretty damn proud of c:
I got accepted to every uni I applied for and have chosen to study animation at Sheffield Hallam, and I am now living with two of my best friends (boyfriend being one of them) in a rented house in sheffield
So yeah, stuff's going pretty well ^.^
The summer's not been so bad for productivity either, I still didn't start the webcomic I was planning to ( D': ) but I've been drawing most days, even if most of the stuff hasn't been worth posting and I'm steadily working on my contest entry for the Fat Female Superhero contest and plan to enter more contests and actually finish on time after this one is done c:
Still having problems with this laptop and my tablet's pressure sensitivity, but I'm gonna try going back to the old version of GIMP and seeing if that combined with the new driver's I've installed helps P:
Also, since I have moved away from my parents house I don't have easy access to a scanner anymore, so all of my more recent stuff is being uploaded to my newly refurbished art blog until I get the funds to buy myself scanner, after which I will upload stuff both here & there, although my blog will get more of the doodled/ WIP stuff, whilst here will only get the finished versions c:

*dusts off journal*
So yeah, decided to actually update this thing, especially since my last one was a little stab of guilt each time I went on my page - although, I think I am finally managing to average about one of my own drawings each week (averaging= some are just shitty doodle and sometimes I'll draw loads in one week but then focus on college work for the next few xP )
Anyhoo, I might actually be posting some stuff up from this latest college project ;o
The theme is "Yesterday", but it's pretty much free reign really
I'm focusing on 1985 --> the late 90's and looking specifically at retro gaming and pixel art, so I could end up producing some pretty awesome stuff ;D
Just need to get my butt in gear on it > o<;;
Also, just completed Radiant Historia - my god is it an awesome game =o
One of the best RPGs I've played in a while, lovely story, awesome characters (designs and personalities) and beautiful music c:
Definitely worth the 55hrs I spent on it xD
The only slight disappointment was how easy the final boss was, especially after fighting the pact master xP
Well, until next time I update this ;D
